ProZone Ltd presents Plastasphalt –the reliable and sustainable technology for long-lasting repairs!

Plastasphalt is a product originally developed in Germany that follows all current Canadian environmental guidelines and standards. For over 20 years, it has been a reliable solution in European countries that experience similar climate challenges to Canada.

The material is sustainable as it’s manufactured and applied pollution-free. The rubber component comes from recycled tires, and the packaging is incorporated into the application process, leaving no leftover waste.

Plastasphalt provides elasticity through the combination of rubber, oil and bitumen, reducing stresses from roadbed movement due to settling, weather, and traffic. The elastic properties allow Plastasphalt to be an ideal solution for large cracks, potholes, and other pavement damage on highways, roads, parking lots, or any asphalt or concrete surfaces.

This is an optimal option for time sensitive repairs. It’s applied in minutes with a small mobile operation to allow the repaired surface to quickly accept traffic after placement, making it great for heavy-traffic areas.

Plastasphalt can repair full depth pavement damages and is applied in 10 to 50 cm strips. For larger areas, it’s applied strip by strip until the full damage is covered. Applied at 250°C, Plastasphalt has low viscosity for self-leveling and penetration into even the smallest of cracks. Its high temperature ensures strong adhesion to concrete and asphalt. Once cooled and cured, it permanently solidifies into a long-lasting, durable repair.

Alberta Transportation approved and has been applied successfully in the City of Edmonton on high-traffic areas like Whitemud Drive and Yellowhead Trail. It has also been a success in numerous other municipalities across Alberta.
